Growing up, my mother told me that I could be anything I wanted to be. Apparently, I turned the ‘anything’ into ‘everything’, hoping not to walk past too many opportunities. The journey has comprised a precarious post-birth stint in the NICU; an early family divorce; a bachelor’s and two masters degrees; employment, contracting, and self-employment in business, publishing, writing, conference planning, ministry, and counseling; mission trips around the world; chasing a five year old at 50; and the love of my wife, son, and dog named Henry.
